Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern And Sam Neill Will Star In Jurassic World 3

It looks like the folks making Jurassic World 3 might be about to get the band back together for one last outing.

That means the original stars of the 1993 classic Jurassic Park could be in line for a return to the franchise.

Yep, if the sources at Collider are to be believed, Jeff Goldblum, Sam Neill, and Laura Dern look likely to team up with existing Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard for another trip back to the island populated with large lab-engineered lizards.

Oh, and Colin Trevarrow – who ran the rule over the first Jurassic World film – is back in the hotseat for the third instalment in the franchise.

The exciting news was announced at a Collider-organised screening of the first Jurassic World flick at the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood this Tuesday.

Trevarrow brought Laura Dern out onto the stage for a question and answer section at the end of the film and the actor confirmed that she and her co-stars will return for the next one.

Dern will be back as Dr. Ellie Satler, Neill will resume the role of Dr. Alan Grant, and Goldblum will reprise the inimitable Dr. Ian Malcolm.

At the end of the second movie, Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, a whole heap of dinosaurs had been freed and were roaming loose about the place. That’s going to take some cleaning up.

We can be sure that we’ll find out on June 112021, though. That’s the date that Universal – which is producing the film with Amblin Entertainment – has scheduled for the film to be released.

Oh, and Trevarrow recently released a short film called Battle at Big Rock, which takes up the action one year after the events of Fallen Kingdom.

In this bleak world, the dinosaurs and humans are trying to occupy the same space, often with dramatic results. Perhaps the kind of dramatic results we can expect to see unfold out of the next Jurassic World film.
