Fortnite won’t be back online until Thursday morning claims dataminer.

It might be longer than you think before you can play Fortnite again, as fan theories and datamining suggest the outage could last for days.

Since Sunday evening it’s been impossible to play Fortnite and although most assumed it’d be down for only a few hours it’s still not up as of Monday morning, and all signs point to a considerable wait still to come. Epic Games has given no indication of when the game will be back, which has led to fans trying to work it out for themselves, with the only clue being some mysterious numbers that could be seen in the background of the livestream – which has since been stuck on a picture of a black hole ever since the Fortnite map was destroyed.

What do the Fortnite spooky numbers mean? The numbers are 11, 146, 62, 15, 62, 87, 14, 106, and 2, which seem to relate to the Visitor tapes audio files and create the sentences ‘I was not alone’, ‘Others were outside the loop’, and ‘This was not calculated’.

Put the first four numbers into Google maps and you also get a street view look at a crab rave, which may or may not be intentional. Which is all very interesting but doesn’t give any clue as to what time the game might be back.

When will Fortnite servers be back online? With no official word on when Fortnite will return the only other thing to rely on is dataminers and they may have an answer, but not necessarily a good one. Respected dataminer Lucas7yoshi has found references in the Fortnite website’s code that suggests the game won’t be back until 9am BST on Thursday, 10 October.

That’s even later than his previous prediction of 6am on Tuesday, so the short answer as to what’s going on is that nobody knows – except maybe Epic Games.
