Toby Carvery Is Now Offering Sunday Roasts Brought To Your Door

Picture the scene – you’re hungover, it’s Sunday morning, you feel dreadful, but the urge to get a roast is strong.

You’ll have to get up, make yourself presentable, and head out to the carvery, right?

Wrong!

Toby Carvery has joined up with take-away delivery service Just Eat to ensure that you can get a full Sunday roast delivered directly to your door.

What a time to be alive.

So, it’s only going to be available from certain places, but given that it will be on offer from 62 out of 158 Toby Carvery locations around the UK, you stand a decent chance.

In fact, this latest move is an improvement on an existing service that Just Eat and Toby were providing.

Previously, if you wanted your roast to go you’d have to actually tip up at the restaurant to collect it, but those days are now gone.

As part of the service, you can order a roast – or a meat free version – as well as a range of puddings that includes crumble in apple, blackberry, and redcurrant varieties, and chocolate fudge cake.

That’s certain to fend of the Saturday night fear for a while, at least.

The best thing about all of this apart from the obvious fact that you won’t have to deal with other people, is that the meals won’t actually have to pay much more to have it brought straight to you.

Based on one sample menu, a roast, which usually offers you the choice of turkey, lamb, beef, or chicken, will set you back £7.29.

As well as the meat, that includes roast potatoes, carrots, peas or seasonal vegetables, gravy and – of course – a Yorkshire pudding.

There’s extras on offer if you’re extra peckish, too.

For an extra £2.79 – prices are dependent on branch – you could get treats like loaded roasties or mini pigs in blankets.

Desserts are going to be around £3.39 or £4.49 depending on where you’re ordering from, and what you’re having.

If you’re really struggling after the night before, there is also the option to order the all you can eat fry up, although you’ll have to decide in advance what ‘all you can eat’ means if you want to avoid a rapidly shuttling delivery driver.

That all starts at £4.89, but the sky is the limit.

Oh, and there’s a wee delivery charge too, which is between £2.49 and £2.79 depending on the branch.

A small price to pay to avoid a busy restaurant when you’re hanging.
