McDonald’s Breakfast Will Be Available Until 11am From Wednesday 20 November

If you’ve ever experienced the exquisite agony of arriving at McDonald’s at 10:34 only to be told that you have missed the boat on your egg and sausage McMuffin, prepare to get very excited indeed.

McDonald’s is to push back their breakfast hours a full half hour, meaning that you’ll be able to grab anything you like from the breakfast menu until 11am.

That means that from Wednesday 20 November you’ll have an extra half hour to remain in bed contemplating your poor decisions after overdoing it the previous night, it means you’ve got 30 more minutes in the warmth before you’ve got to drag your sorry backside down the road for a McBacon Roll and a coffee.

It’s finally happened, guys. We deserve this.

This decision isn’t one they’ve taken lightly, it would seem. In fact, the extension of the hours comes after a lengthy trial period in which they extended the hours temporarily in 122 restaurants in the South of England.

Now, they’re ready to go national, and next week will see the extension rolled out to all the McDonald’s restaurants in the UK and Ireland.

However, this might not be the best news if you’re turning up at 10:35am for a Big Mac, as you’ll be told that it ain’t happening until 11.

Although, what are you doing eating a Big Mac at 11am? There’s some real deviants out there…

OK, perhaps that’s a bit harsh, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer until you can just get the whole menu all of the time. That’s how you eventually please everyone, after all.

Announcing the decision, McDonald’s UK and Ireland’s Vice President of Food and Marketing Michelle Graham-Clare said: “We all understand the pain of missing out on a McMuffin by a matter of minutes.

“We have listened to our customers’ pleas and are delighted to extend breakfast serving time until 11am, particularly as we head into the festive season when we see a rush of latecomers searching for those all-important hash browns.”

Whilst we’re here, it is also worth remembering that you may not even have to get out of bed at all to get your hands on the Maccies breakfast that you so desperately crave.

In fact, more than 950 restaurants around the UK and Ireland currently offer a McDelivery service through Uber Eats.

That means you can get a McDonald’s breakfast delivered to your door as long as you order before 10:45am, which is an improvement on the current 10:15am deadline.

What a time to be alive.
