Morrisons cafe is doing a Christmas meal deal with three courses for £7.50
Parties of up to 20 people can go to their local store and claim a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, as well as vegan and veggie options.
The Christmas Meal Deal starts from £6.50 for a two-course meal and £7.50 for the full three courses.
Guests will have a choice of paté and melba toast, soup or prawn cocktail to start.
This is followed by a traditional turkey lunch, and alternative options of salmon filet with hollandaise sauce or mushroom wellington with roast potatoes and brussels sprouts.
For dessert there is classic Christmas pudding with brandy sauce or custard, or chocolate or strawberry ice cream.
Bookings of up to 20 people can be made between November 25 and December 23.
The Christmas Meal Deal is available in all Morrisons cafes. You can find your local branch using the store locator tool on their website.
The meal is being rolled out in response to research showing that growing numbers of workers are expecting cutbacks to their work Christmas parties.
Of 1,000 UK workers surveyed this month, five per cent expect their festive do to be cancelled altogether due to economic uncertainty.
Helen Tordoff, head of cafes at Morrisons said: “Some small businesses have had a tough year so we have created the best Christmas meal for those on a budget.
“And as our cafés regularly host group meet ups, we thought we’d extend the invite to local companies so they can save some Christmas costs.
“It will mean that more people can get into the party spirit without breaking the bank.”
The Sun has asked Morrisons if the meal deal is new for this year and we’ll update as soon as we know.
