IF you love Christmas markets you’re in luck and as you can now get paid £50 an hour to travel to the best ones in the UK and drink mulled wine.
Company ExpoCart is looking to hire an official ‘Christmas Fair Tester’ to “go to Christmas markets, enjoy the festivities, do some shopping, drink some Gluhwein”.
The lucky candidate is expected to visit the best festive offerings up and down the country, including Birmingham Christmas market, Edinburgh Christmas market and Winter Wonderland.
Travel expenses and reimbursed for the tester and a friend, and the pair will need to visit at least three markets a week.
You’ll only be paid for one hour at each market, which still works out to at least £150 per week.
The position runs from December 6 until the 24th, and the tester will be expected to take a lot of notes while at each Christmas market.
They’ll be required to take photographs and check out what the competition is serving, as well as what type of stalls and decorations they’ve got.
A 750-word report will need to be prepared on each market to be handed over by January 10.

“So, with our upcoming expansion into the consumer markets and fairs sector, we decided to take advantage of all of the fairs currently running, and do some market research of our own.
“Obviously we know this is a dream job for a lot of people, so we’re expecting a lot of applications.
“We’re excited to pick our Christmas Fair Tester and get them enjoying all of the Christmas fairs the UK has to offer!”
They role is open to anyone over the age of 18 who has a full driving license, with ExpoCart saying it’s ideally suited to students or retirees.
But above all you need to have a “passion for all things Christmas-related”.
