Burger King has reopened a small number of branches for delivery to help ease everyone’s fast food cravings.

Since the restaurant opened some stores, people have been queuing hours to just get their hands on a burger.

So some people have resulted in trying their luck in the kitchens at replicating some of Burger King’s finest meals.

Now you’ll be pleased to know that the fast food giant is going to be dishing out free Whoppers to the worst kitchen fails.

Burger King is encouraging customers to share their worst at-home cooking attempts for their chance at a free meal.

All you have to do is share the fail to @BurgerKingUK with the hashtag #WishItWasAWhopper.”

The winners of the worst fails will be rewarded with a voucher to treat themselves to a Whopper.

One Twitter user posted their attempt after being forced to use Warburton sandwich thins as burger buns.

He wrote: “We wanted BK and we also didn’t have burger buns… #WishItWasAWhopper.”

To which Burger King replied: “These are desperate times.”

Burger King has made plans to reopen one branch in every city by May 31, totalling 350 restaurants.

Katie Evans, marketing director at Burger King UK, said: “We are so pleased to be able to open more restaurants across the UK this week, including our first restaurant for customer Drive Thru – which is a huge step forward.”

Restaurants will open from midday to 11pm and customers will be able to place their tasty orders via the Deliveroo app or Just Eat.
