Woman left with ‘temporary’ skeleton face tattoo that wouldn’t wash off after Halloween

A woman was left in an awkward situation after her ‘temporary’ skeleton face tattoo wouldn’t come off after Halloween.

Elizabeth Rose, 46, from North Somerset, took to her TikTok @alliwanttodoismile to share the hilarious blunder and revealed she’d popped the tattoo on her seven-year-old granddaughter as well.

While desperately scrubbing her face the grandmother also revealed she had work meetings the next day. Watch the video here.

In the clip, which racked up over 1.4 million views, she said: ‘Put a tattoo sticker on, join in a bit of Halloween, you know?

‘Put some on my granddaughter as well, she’s seven, and my daughter rings up going “Has it come off?”. Well, it can’t be that difficult, surely?’

Elizabeth then picked up a cotton pad and started scrubbing the side of her face vigorously but the tattoo wasn’t budging.

She then tried scrubbing the tattoo on her forehead but again it wouldn’t come off.

She said: ‘F*** sake.. I have meetings tomorrow. I swear to god.’

People rushed to the comments with some tips on how to remove the tattoo.

One person said: ‘anything alcohol based, hand sanitiser, rubbing alcohol.. or you could just drink it and forget all the tattoo.’

To which Elizabeth replied: ‘Haha awesome idea!!!.’

Another wrote: ‘I know it’s your face but nail varnish remover will take this off.’

While someone else joked: ‘looks brilliant ,I’m sure the people at your meeting will see the funny side.’

To which Elizabeth replied: ‘They just thought I had a lot of blusher on.’
