IF you need something to get you into the Christmas spirit, look no further.
Because B&M is selling a £5 doormat sensor that sings Christmas songs when you arrive home.
Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group, one impressed shopper posted a video of her find, writing: “This is amazing for all you Christmas lovers… B&M, £4.99.”
The sensor can be placed under a doormat, but you can also snap up B&M’s “Merry Christmas” mat for £2.99.
The festive gadget – which switches between We Wish You A Merry Christmas and Jingle Bells – has been hugely popular on social media, with the post racking up nearly 2,000 likes already.
One wrote: “I’m so getting one of these” while others tagged their friends to arrange a shopping trip to the bargain store.
Others joked it could get annoying, while another said her partner would “probably break up with her”.
One mum who already has the sensor joked: “It’s not good if you have kids, you’ll soon want to return it!”
While another said: “I can see me jumping over it instead… one way to tell if the kids are trying to sneak out or if a thief comes in.”
“This would annoy the hell out of my other half… he’s a Scrooge… I must get it!” Joked another.
